So I recently asked a question regarding the purchase of switchblades/automatic knives. One answer gave me a helpful link. I live in Florida and I love weapons, I am trying to start a collection. So I read the certain laws for Florida and it says you may only carry a “common pocket knife”.

So what he hell is that?

I know a “knife” is a blade longer than 3″
And I read that in other states you can’t have knives that lock (for non-knife enthusiasts that is a knife that flips open and locks into position via a metal clip)

So I am assuming a common pocket knife is a knife under 3″, that folds, doesn’t open by pressing a button of any kind and doesn’t lock in place?

If that’s not right then help me please! I don’t want to to be doing anything illegal. Thank you in advance
